Ten String Symphony and Mile Twelve help preview Green Mountain Bluegrass and Roots, 8/16-19

Two of the many fine artists scheduled to entertain in mid August, in Manchester Vt’s Green Mountain Bluegrass and Roots, have appeared on Nine Volt Heart recently. I reprised our conversations in anticipation of their appearance in just under two weeks.

Rachel Baiman is part of the string duo Ten String Symphony along with Christian Sedelmyer. We talk about their band together, the origins of their name and their songwriting process. I spotlight three songs , “Anna Jane” and “Black Eyed Suzie” along with from Rachel’s solo work, “Shame”.

Bronwyn Keith-Hynes also visits to discuss her work with Mile Twelve, the award winning traditional bluegrass band, also appearing in Manchester Vt. We spotlighted the title cut from their first full length release, “Onward”.

Our preview also includes a cut from Lula Wiles and MIPSO who will also be at GMBGR festival.37604583_2037531056564343_906642882943778816_n
